LebensWerk is transforming the former “Mühlenhof” in Bad Wünnenberg – once a shelter for vulnerable individuals – into a place of rest, support, and new beginnings. This new center, called Haltepunkt, offers guidance, space to recover, and spiritual renewal for people facing difficult life situations.
We are currently renovating the Mühlenhof in Bad Wünnenberg, a former residential home for at-risk individuals. A new place is being created – a space for community, recovery, counseling, and reorientation.
What is currently being developed:
– 5 rooms for counseling and support
– A seminar and group area
– 5 small apartments for temporary support and stabilization of individuals
The renovation is already well advanced:
– The ground floor is largely completed – including underfloor heating and screed
– On the first floor, the screed will be poured soon; preparations are complete
– The attic has been almost completely gutted, and the dormer has been expanded
What we still need:
To complete the project, we currently need financial flexibility of around €150,000 – partly for the renovation and partly for furnishing.
We are looking for people with a heart for social work, who are willing to support us with a donation or an interest-free loan.
We are grateful for every contribution – whether large or small.
Interest-free loans between €1,000 and €5,000 are particularly manageable for us – but other amounts are also very welcome.
Depending on your preference, you will receive either a donation receipt or a written loan agreement.
